Defining Core Values
Values Training and Assessment for Leaders
Core values are the fundamental beliefs of a person. The core values are the guiding principles that dictate behavior and action. Core values can help people to know what is right from wrong; they can help to determine if you are on the right path and fulfilling your goals. Core Values are at the very heart of work ethic, decision making, and are the foundation upon which great leaders are developed.
Once we identify values that are meaningful to us, we can
develop strategies to implement them. When we make the determined
effort to implement those strategies, good fortune is sure to follow in
the form of new opportunities, new sources of revenue and income, and
other forms.
In this Course you will learn:
- The Importance of Core Values
- To Assess Your Values
- To Define Your Values
You will also learn:
- The Importance of Support Values
- and, how to align Core Values with Decision Making
The benefit of strong core values is best exemplified when a leader experiences rapidly growing and changing circumstances. Constant decision making takes place as a situation develops and expands. Here, your Core Values serve as a guide and a standard by which every choice can be evaluated.
We ask ourselves, how aligned are we with our philosophy, vision, and beliefs? We ask ourselves, "How great of a leader can I be?" This course will help you answer that question.
